I have a package with Turkcell 3G for my internet connection on my laptop. I have 15GB a month. How can I find out how much I have left, PRIOR to a message saying they are about to disconnect, as the package has expired until renewal date?

My thoughts exactly!
I did have a look around their website, but couldn't find anything relevant.
Owl lady, if you do find out from Turkcell, could you let us know please?
That way, we will be able to answer the question in future
Best of luck!

There are lots of programs (many free) that can be downloaded that will monitor how much you have used in downloading and uploading, and display the details. You can set it to display daily, weekly, whatever, and on many you can also set the program to warn when you are getting near a particular figure.
One such program is
bitmeter2, but if you google "free broadband monitor", you'll find a lot more and further information.
They can look complicated, but if you take your time and "RTFM" , you'll be OK!
(*a technical term - read the flipping manual.... )

Thanks Jofra, not technically minded and the last time I heard RTFM. it wasn't flippin!!!I have just spent about 3 hours in Turkcell recently and forgot to ask. Was just trying to avoid another hour waiting. If I find out will post, I know you can get the info from a mobile.

owl lady, yes from a mobile it's *123*45# for PAYG - I don't know about 'contract' - I just hate it when they hide information!
BTW, I've no doubt that the 'bitmeter2' program is excellent, but be aware that it's reported usage may not tally exactly with Turkcell's method of calculating your usage - don't ask me why - I don't know!
... and I just had an afterthought - if some of your internet usage is via wi-fi hotspots or any source other than your Turkcell connection, then that may also confuse the issue - as if it wasn't confused enough already...

Send a text, 1111, from your PC to Turkcell, and write REMAIN. Within minutes you have an answer telling you how much is left

Tried that and it just told me how to add more GBs. Went to Turkcell( another 40 minutes), but result. I have to take my Sim card out of my dongle and put into my mobile. then message DORUM to 1111.
Yippe balance shown and due date of renewal .Maybe not the easiest but a result!!!!!!.Incidentally they could not find my internet number from either my telephone number or name!!!!

Hi,
I am running windows 8.1 - Now 10 on my laptop. If you click the Wi-fi icon in your taskbar (bottom right looks like a radar!) Then click "Network Settings" (bottom of screen). The click left hand side "Data Usage".
