Thanks for writing the book Soner. Its such an easy and enjoyable read. The book is both charming as well as harrowing. It was also written in a very impartial way.The book made me laugh as well as cry.
I have actually read it three times.Mainly just to get certain dates fixed in my brain(takes a little longer these days for facts to stick) The bravery of your mother astounds me.
The knock of ginger part of the book was really funny. As was the piece near the end when one of the boys thought that his manhood had fallen off.
The harrowing story of the person that was tied too a try really brought home how awful war can be.Like you say at the end.Perhaps its time to move on.Once again thank you.
Paul.
