How has your internet connection been during the Olympics, as mine has been up & down all week, & it seems to know when I am watching the last few metres of a race as it starts streaming.
I am with Multimax 4mb package but the BBC site on their web site is worse than watching it on BBC iplayer, as it starts off ok but then freezes.
I am in the Alsancak area so I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with them or any other providers, as it may well be that its so busy.

Have you contacted Multimax Support?

I expect BBC iPlayer would be overloaded during the times of popular races but our website BBC feed at http://mmx.tc/iptv should provide much better viewing experience. If you have been having issues with both, it is an indication of problem somewhere in your setup.

Please contact us with your account name on record (email: info@multimaxcyprus.com or 0548 888 6629) and we will look into it.

Yes, mine has been up and down all week, but mine goes just as the horse is about to take off for a jump! As I have ridden all my life, I tend to get ready in my chair as the horse is about to take off, then I'm left suspended !

As to reply to your question, yes Multimax is currently having issues with its network in Girne Area. One of our primary links from Girne and Lefkosa is not working and all of Kyrenia traffic (from Tatlisu to Kayalar) is rerouted through secondary link.

Unfortunately this links over St Hilarion is not accessible after 5pm as army blocks the way and we will only be able to make it to the site to see whats going on in the morning.

We do realize that the internet is currently slower than expected in some parts of Kyrenia, but because of all the redundancies and backups we have installed in place, nobody is without an internet connection.

No matter what we do, I guess there will always be people we wont be able to make happy.
