For those who have not already been informed, it is my sad duty to inform John's many friends that he passed away yesterday, Friday. It followed a very short illness in the UK.

He was a true gentleman and a really lovely person. He will be hugely missed.

The file is safe but whether it opens as intended not sure.

I met John through friends in Cyprus. Such a fun guy, really enjoyed his company.

Very sad, RIP John.
