Anyone else have a powercut in Catalkoy at the moment?

No fuse have tripped so wondering if there is a power cut or there is something else wrong.

Best to check with your neighbours - 2 or 3 on each side (they may be on different 'phases' of a 3 phase supply, and the cut may only affect 1 phase).

If they're not in, just look at their electricity meters, to see if the little wheel is going round - although what you do if they're the new type meters, I've no idea!

We had a problem at the time there were lots of power cuts at beginning of August. First of all we assumed it was more of the same but then noticed lights on at other houses. Checked our house fuses and the one at the meter and all looked okay. To cut a long story short, it was fuse on the transformer which put out 3 houses. We had to get a Turkish speaking friend to call Kibtek 0392 815 2223 to get someone to come and fix it. It happened about 8.30pm and they fixed it at 11.30pm. So as Keith says check with several of your neighbours, in our case 3 out of 9 houses were affected and none were next door to each other.
