Skype problem - can anyone help but in simple language!
I can only just find my way around a computer and lost Skype this morning .
I have tried downloading it again, have got the symbol up saying just a minute we are improving your Skype experience but this has been running all afternoon!
Is this normal? Do I need to start again somehow? Help please? In language that I can understand - I am a proper dumbo on a computer.

there does seem to be an internet prob though many banks could not use their computers the last few days. I think someone slipped with the scissors. lol

Viber is probably better at present not because the application is better but because there are a lot less users - just wait till Viber take-up matches Skype and then it will be no better or worse... one of life's computing realities. Some times applications are a victim of their own success...

Do both parties need to have viber ?

Point taken, however as Viber is a lot more server based and less P2P than Skype is, unless they (Viber) can keep up with server demand as take-up increases it will degrade as things stand.... which was the point I was making.
