Bottom left hand article, 2nd from last paragraph ...........and to notify customers when they can use energy economically and much other information.

Do you think the latter means electricity is going to be cheaper at night, e.g. Night Storage heaters etc in the UK? If that is the case then I'll be setting the time clocks on the dishwasher and washing machine!!

The first bit is not true - we have new meters and pay our neighbours' bills...

I know Groucho, that's why I quoted it. Dozens and dozens of people like you pay for people in the UK etc., It's going to be difficult if they stick to their guns isn't it? I suppose he means when all paper bills stop for good, and all the new meters have been installed.
