Has anyone had or still waiting for a Hebo prefab type house to be built?? Or anyone seen news or reviews, good or bad???

Yes, I've had one built. Delighted with the whole process. Mine was featured in their brochure.

ah, good to know. when was that though? we've waited 4 months and they haven't even got plans ready for planning permission. another person I know has waited 9 months! getting worried theyre going under.

If they are operating according to the rules, they cannot have started building yet - 'without planning permission' so you should not have paid more than a nominal deposit, and no stage payments yet.

I know that, but its taken 5 months, and another 9 months and they still haven't done anything at all. just keep saying end of month, then comes another end of month, and they told us it takes one month to draw plans up. how many months do I wait for them??

Suggest you find a firm that wants to work and earn money.

From what you say, I can't see why you would even want to deal with them.

The general advice these days is not to buy 'off plan' - but you're saying that they haven't even got a plan yet!

Don't just walk away - RUN - and thank your lucky stars that you haven't forked out a lot of money.

I take it that you haven't signed a contract yet, as normally, the plans form part of the contract...

All done and completed within 3 months. This included drawing up plans and getting planning permit. It was 10 years ago and one of the first constructed here in the TRNC.
Suggest you visit their office in Demirhan and bang the table!

so angry right now, I just wanna rant to thec omputer. parents n us lost £££££ with hebo. government wont give us plan perm as wana take more of our land to make an empty road into a dual carriageway. arghh! both of us..savings gone, lost home, renting inadequate

govment wont give us a penny, but may give us greek land (thanks) in maybe 2 years or more wen they start the road that no one uses hardly! ok, so my parents may be dead by then, but lets look on the bright side, they've got a cracking solicitor handling another case of theirs who seems to be more interested in his new restaurant than my dad drivn 80 miles to an appointment to find hes shopping in lefkosa! then texts him, well that professional

yea, still ranting coz I can. Why are people so heartless? n selfish? n greedy? me me me. I have 5 rescue dog n 2 horses. I wanted a home on our land nxt door to m parets where I could care for them. now they are to be homeless in 3 months, and ours is in the balance. well, at least I have some land I can dump my horse sh$t on. i'm sure I don't need planning permission for that!

I thought hebo construction had gone bust . They set up a half built site n the salamis road in famagusta which has now gone . They had a tacebook page and there where a couple of bad reviews one person was saying they had took the money and never built anything another was saying their property was leaking and they wouldnt come and fix it .

There is north cyprus steel homes on the lefkosia road they seem to be a better outfit and have been in business for longer and have a big portfolio of finsished portfolio .
