We seem to have literally hundreds of baby waterboatmen in our pool, they seem harmless but there are a lot, any ideas how to get rid please?

Just scoop them out with your net and then keep an eye open for Mummy Waterboat woman and try and catch her before she does her "thing"

I did see more of them when I used Zerochlor, but still see the odd 'Chlorine-resistant' one around!

Don't worry, they won't drink much!

It's not what they drink put what passes through them that concerns some I guess...

You can be sure that what exudes from a single human swimmer, or his dog, is a damn sight more noxious than several zillion Waterboatmen turdies!

If they are on the surface of the pool they may be pond skaters.

There's a type that will give a nasty bite which are also called backswimmers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notonectidae
Best thing to do is fish them out and kill them, otherwise they will fly back in to the pool. Nasty little things.

I don't know what 'exudes' from you Roy but we don't allow our dogs in the pool and we make sure we are nice and clean before swimming..... Oh - who threw that Lion Bar in the pool?
