After taking good advice I am posting a New thread to ask for help for two dogs that were abandoned with their three siblings - they are known now as The Famous Five !
Briefly for those who do not know about their situation, their owners Mr. Peter and Mrs. Angela Hogan booked their five dogs into a kennels for five days whilst they moved house. Fine, no problem with that but then they never came back for them. The owner of the kennels appealed for help obviously and a Lady offered to take them all in and give it a try with her own six dogs.
Unfortunately two of the Famous Five, Groucho and Hardy are just too much for her to handle, with all the others. They are not nasty , there is no malice in either of them, they are happy dogs and full of fun but she is on her own and is struggling with the numbers! She is gutted it has not worked out but she gave it her all..
People have been so kind in helping with food donations, fixing wire meshing and other gifts but now I am trying to help them by asking for the biggest gift of all - A Family and Home for them!
I know it is a Big ask, I know there are so many homeless dogs out there but just maybe there is someone reading this, that could help them.
Mr. and Mrs. Hogan have been sighted and actually spoken to, so no case of mistaken identity, in the south of the Island.
I think these dogs are probably better off away from such uncaring people.
Can we help them?

We are not dog lovers, and have cats, but I truly hope for a happy ending to this story...it is no fault of the dogs and to be abandoned as they were is unbelieveable. I hope some kind people can take them in.

I have met the whole pack. These dogs are inquisitive, fun and harmless. If we did not have our own nutters, these 2 would have a home. However, we cannot take any more.

The two boys, Groucho and Hardy are now back with Suzan at K9 kennels, where they were abandoned by the Hogans.
Suzan the owner of the kennels has kept them together, one because she is struggling for space for them and two to try and minimise the stress for them of being separated from the others and moved again!
It is not an ideal solution and cannot be a permanent one! These dogs need to be in a home! They need stability in their lives and someone who they can learn to trust and love.
It is not their fault they are in this situation, they are not bad dogs, none of The Five. It is us humans who are the bad ones!

Echoed thoughts for the attempt. My son and I were astonished at her attempt to house them all and the size of the task she, as an elderly person, had taken on. The hounds in question are great fun.
