how long does mail take getting to TRNC. Can anyone advise the Quikest way to get a mail package to a mail box in Lapta please?

I have been waiting for 3 months and 6 months for two letters from the UK. But I get them from Germany and they take 3 to 4 days.so send nothing important from the UK.

I sent two by Royal Mail International tracked and signed; the first took six days - the second (sent one week later to the same address) firstly dropped off the tracking system after three days (still in the UK), reappeared ten days later (after several phone calls) "at Heathrow". Fourteen days later, suddenly "This item not recognised". Another phone call and I am told it has been "returned to sender" (me?) and delivered a couple of hours earlier...??
....from a delivery office that is many, many miles from my area - I suspect that it was returned to where I had obtained the relevant documents from in the first place - but when I checked, they couldn't find them either...
In due course, the item reappeared on the tracking site, showing that it had been returned from Heathrow to Manchester via BELFAST!
Needless to say, a claim was submitted - and Royal Mail stated that their "system shows it was returned to you...." After providing them with screengrabs of their tracking system displays (before AND after they "modified" details) and threatening legal action for refund of postage, costs and compensation, they did finally cough up - just postage and costs of the document!
Royal Mail? Never again!!

DHL 3 days used a few times. I dropped off at at 11 on the Monday arrived Thursday at 8am no problems.

Gave up a long time ago , use a PO box in the south now , 3-4 days on average from the UK and not yet had things going missing.
