There is a festival in the centre of the village over the weekend does anybody know when it starts and is there a programme of events available?thanks in advance.BBB

They posted yesterday on their Facebook page. Timings and events all listed there. Just google Catalkoy Belidiesi on Facebook to get the link.
We wondered why suddenly Zafer Sokak, the ravaged road with its meandering trench, was tarmaced this week having been decimated by the water pipe works. Now we know, as it's a main route to the village and used for parking.

Well there's gratitude for you........not!

i cant find anything, would love to take that family down. if anyone gets the planner please can they post on here.

The festival begins tonight Friday 18/9 and ends Sunday 20/9. the best way to get there is by foot. Every one will be there from the village, lots of stalls and music.
Do NOT attempt to drive through the centre as all roads to the centre will be blocked foot traffic ONLY. Enjoy

It would be lovely if the festival had a good turnout from its British residents and visitors.
The Mayor was even up the ladders yesterday straightening the buntings!
They do try for the village Support them if you can! We will be going down for a nosey and maybe a beer or two!
