No idea where your apartment is located. However, some thoughts for you as we had to consider. Other apartment holders views - could be the cause of serious, and possible expensive legal, rows. What is necessary to supply - will dictate output required. Automatic start-up or manual. Where sited - covered/secure, automatic start up or manual, fumes discharge area. Ours is a 'quiet' generator - it is not! Petrol or diesel. I suggest a degree of research more than we did if you are to have a hassle-free time. Good luck.

Cheers for that. Anyone bought one recently? Want one that just kicks in when the power cut starts then stops when the electric comes back, cheers.

They guy at the Auction Centre in Lapta buys and reconditions generators, but whether you buy a new or second hand one, you will have difficulty in buying a quiet one. They advertise them as being quiet. but if you were to stick it on your apartment terrace, as tomsteel says, you'll get complaints be the score. Lots of research if you want a complaint free life!!
