Disposing of an Old Fridge Freezer

Hi

I had new Fridge Freezer delivered a little while back, can anyone tell what is the best way to dispose of the old one.

Any advice much appreciated.

Have you asked the company you bought from. We only buy Blomberg goods and their policy is to take away your old appliance when they leave. I don't know what happens then, but I strongly suspect they take it to their main place in Lefkosa and repair and sell on as second hand in the many little corner shops in the back streets. Otherwise you can contact your local Belediye who come and take away appliances. Alsancak charge 50tl and it shows on a bill at a later date. Leave it outside your house for a few days and I bet it just vanishes overnight. Its called "after 6 shopping"!!
