There are two topics been recently added,- TRNC Cricket association. And Two events for Music Lovers.
Why have these not been added in The Events Section.

Of course you may ask.
As a general rule we try to leave new postings of this type on the general forum for a couple of days before moving them so a greater number of people may see them. This of course is when we have been asked to post on behalf of someone else, many posters go straight to the relevant forum.
Quite often we are not around so bear with us. I actually can't see what the problem is and why you feel the need to create a new topic to bring it to our attention. The private message facility would surely have been more appropriate.
Hope that clears this up.
PS The cricket posting will of course go to Sport.

I created a new topic because there were two topics and I would have had to repeated myself for both topics.
There seems to be double standards at play here.A topic or thread or whatever you want to call it should be entered under the appropriate category it should not be entered under the general forum because of someone else is asking for it to be put there.
With regards to private message facility, what's the problem with airing ones view openly,if it's done in private it would indicate there is something to hide.I have nothing to hide.Private message facility is for personal contact that you want to remain private ie personal phone numbers, negotiations with regard to sale items etc.
There is nothing I am discussing about here that needs to be private.

Dare I reply, sometimes things are not that important to make an issue out of them. This seems to be the case here.
Perhaps there should be a section called " Bored Posters" for people who want to make posts that really don't matter.
I think I reverted back to my Cyprus 44 days then......... oops!

Thanks PaulW,
We have been struggling with hackers and I have not had time to help moderators with forum. Should be back to normal hopefully by end of next week. Just can't understand why some people just need to nit-pick.

Lottidotti you do seem to have a problem with the moderation on this forum, you asked a question I suggested a pm to a moderator who was the most likely person to answer that question, it does not suggest you have something to hide its just the common sense way to get an answer.

Soner, having been part of TRNC life for 25 years, not living here I might add, although I do spend quite some time here now. Not a lot happens and so people feel the need to almost invent stuff to fill their day.
I don't wish to insult people, but this site is a helpful aid, so let's use it as such.
If subjects are automatically put where maybe they should end up a lot of people would miss them, I tend to look in the section where all the posts are made first as I'm sure do most others.
As you say let's not nit pick but go with the flow.

Was it not the moderator who posted the aforementioned threads on the wrong section and then tried to give a weak and wooly reason why it was acceptable or am I imagining things?
Consistancy please.

Please DO NOT give up Soner! Most of us are very appreciative of your efforts.
I, for one, always read the Kibkom North Cyprus Forum first for an overview of what is current. Only then do I go to a specific forum if I need to.
