Has anyone lost a black Labrador bitch?

Do you know anyone who has lost a full grown thoroughbred black labrador bitch?

One has 'turned up' in the Escape Beach area, Yesterday Evening, that's Monday 13th August.

She's about 18 months to two years old, and has an operation scar where she has been speyed in the last 3 to 4 weeks, and she is wearing a brown leather collar, which is a bit stained as though it's been wet - perhaps from swimming.

She's well fed, healthy, obedient and friendly, gets on well with children (well, she hasn't eaten any of them - yet ), and quite large.

If you can help find the owner, please ring Jackie on 0533 837 6392

I'll just 'Bump this to the top' once....

And could I just ask anyone who reads this (even you exotic Eastern dwellers ) to mention this dog to people you meet when you visit your favourite bar / restaurant?

We sometimes forget that not everyone reads Internet Forums (indeed, not everyone has a computer - although how the poor dears survive is beyond me ) - so you might just happen to mention it to 'someone who knows someone' who has lost a dog....if you see what I mean.

Anyway, I won't persist to 'push' this in anyone's face, - I believe that the lady who I spoke to has persuaded Cyprus Today to do an article on the dog, so perhaps that will "reach the parts that we don't"

Just to let you all know - Although there has been no sign of the original owner, a chap in Bahcelli has re-homed the dog.

Jackie, the lady who found the dog, took him across there today, and he was a nice chap - got on with the dog like a house on fire - and he's owned Labradors before.

A Happy ending !

That's one happy ending, thankfully. Is there anyone who can achieve another one? Bonny, the 12 year old Spring Spaniel who was one of the dogs found in the home of the lady who died in Karsiyaka a while back, she has never been in a kennel before and is not able to cope with life at the KAR centre. It breaks you heart to see her.
