Has anyone had texts from yasal uyari. This seems to be asking for Kimlik number. Also a text from 1011 saying you can win 1200 units. by texting NAR WEEK to 1011. Anyone know what all this is about. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

Yasal uyari means legal notice, I suspect it has something to do with registering your details for a pay as you go Sim. See this thread

We had texts on all of our mobiles today, asking for name and passport number if youhave been here for more than 90 days regardless or not even if you have citizenship. We sent ours and we confirmations from Telsim and Turkcell.
They re saying if you do not comply, you will be cut off
