Don't bother with guttering - when it rains here no guttering can cope and all it really does is collect leaves

Being a retired builder, first thing I did was put guttering on our villa. It is a deep line UPVC type bought from Ersem in Alsancak. Been up for almost 4 years, has never overflowed & stops many liters of water hitting the ground, bouncing off & eventually ruining paintwork. This, in certain instances,I am sure could cause dampness.

Same here, deep guttering bought from Gepaz, painted it all white, inside and out to reduce UV damage.
The deep gutter is enough to cope with all but the very worst torrential rain, and even then remember 90% of it is carried away.
We have a point so we can divert the water to the pool as we emptied that to re-grout one year and re-filled for free.
Also made some chicken wire vertical filters for the down pipes so if leaves (no trees to bother us) or bird feathers etc do get into the gutters they don't block the down pipes.
Try to get plastic brackets, if you use the metal ones, paint them first with white Hammerite as the regular coating does rust off.
Remember to buy a couple of extra pipes to divert the water well away from the house in the winter months. You can remove these for the summer.

The deep UPVC guttering (U shaped profile in light bluey-grey) can be bought at Cagra near the speed camera at Karakum. They sell the brackets and joiners, end sections, downpipe joiners, downpipe and bend sections to match - a doddle to put up and and we've never had a problem with leaves in 9 years! Very strong guttering. No need to paint it.

Have to agree with most posters, guttering is very wide/deep profile and copes with pretty much everything, available at most Yapi markets. Our place is white rendered so as a precaution I fitted the brackets with stainless steel screws to prevent any rust bleeding down the white paint.
