I couldn't get BBC home page either. I am with Multimax and have just tried via their free VPN and it works?

Judyvin,

Thanks for that, it works for me too. Does that mean that we now have to connect our VPN before we can connect to the BBC webpage, and BBC Iplayer?

Multimax, do you have any info on this development?

No BBC websites or radio, We are in Alsancak our multi max pick up pints towards the mountains, our two neighbours point towards Merit Royal Seaside they have no problem, so it seems to to do with the lefkosa mast receiver.
Strange though can get it through my proxy server.
Maybe BBC have blocked for some reason, I can get any other websites but no BBC web or radio. Sure Multi will have the answer

Seems that BBCi player only works via the VPN too and I can't watch it via the App on my TV. Hopefully it is just a blip with the BBC!

It is a BBC problem and you need to use your VPN to access it. I have just had that confirmed by Multimax.

Could anyone provide instructions for loading Multimax VPN on Win 10? I had it loaded previously but no matter how I try on the particular PC connected to my TV it does not now work and shows "Multimax VPN blocked", but its only on the one PC. Others work OK.

Sorry for not posting here sooner - been a difficult day (personal stuff).

As you know currently multimax customer can not access bbc websites, unless they use the manual VPN. It is not really a BBC problem, it is more related the 'auto vpn' service that when working as normal means customers can access bbc sites and (generally) appear as if they are in the UK without them having to do anything at their end. This is currently not working as it should and a side effect of this is that currently you can only reach BBC sites if you use the manual VPN. We are working to restore things back to normal as quickly as we can. Sorry.

Erol, thank you so much for taking the time to phone me personally. It was very kind of you to explain the situation and I will certainly take you up on the offer of checking out my PC for connection to Smart TV via MMs system. See you next Thursday all being well.
