Sterling ATM

Apart from the Alsancak Starling ATM (near Ileli) is there another which gives Sterling without having to go into Girne??

Go a few hundred yards towards Girne and there is a petrol station on the RHS - the machine there gives sterling.
(The direction is from Ilelli market).

Supreme in Catalkoy and the ATMs at Lemar in Karakum - near Bestsellers Bookstore.

Be careful of the HSBC ATM in Supreme - it has a habit of "swallowing" cards.

Supreme Catalkoy worked fine with no card problem
Lemar ATM's near the road neither offered GBP

The Garantee machine nr Lemar gives sterling but often runs out.

The Garanti in town down the main street, turn left at the jewellers has a sterling ATM as does the HSBC on the sea front at Girne, though it does only give out £50 notes. Sue xx

Sorry I did mean yes one by Lemar at karakum does offer it normally but had none when I went.

Don't forget to mention TEB, next door but one to where Mr Pound was. They dispense GBP, Dollar and Euro. I can't remember them ever being empty, now of course next time I go, it will be, sods law!

I got £50 out the other day and £52 was debited from my UK account.
