Mods if it's OK with all of you, could we refrain from moving posts about abandoned and lost dogs to the Pets section as it not about the status of 'pet' and more about finding the owner or the animal on an urgent basis... I'm only asking.

Certainly messages should be kept on he General Forum for a week if nothing else, then they can be moved. I have thought on a number of occasions that the PETS section is a bit of a misnomer. Lets face it a large proportion of the messages are about dogs and cats in general and not actual pets

Great news Lou has returned. We have had no enquiries about her being dumped at Korineum Golf Club,
so looks like she will be with us for some time !!!!!!

The little sausage dog we named Lou has now been returned to her owners. After information received she was re-united yesterday.
Thanks everyone for you help. Great news for one little dog.

Re: where has my post gone. Sausage Dog
I am lad that the dog has been reunited with its owners.
With regard to where posts should go, my own preference is for all posts to go on the General Forum in the first instance, then after a few of days some could be moved to an appropriate forum page. This is because I (and I suspect most of the readers) view the General Forum first and only then go on to specific Forums if looking for something specific. I do however, acknowledge that this would create extra work for the Mods, and they could do without that.

PB I find if I click on "unread posts" (top right) I can have a quick scroll down rather than opening different topics, works for me.
