Republic Day
I understand this falls on Sunday this year. Anyone know if it means banks and solicitors etc will take Monday off as well. Thanks

Anyone know the answer, or is it best to drive down to the bank and enquire direct?

Unlike UK they do not take days off in lieu if a public holiday falls on the weekend, but to be 100% sure - why don't you give your bank a ring
