But not the UK I hasten to add.
On holiday in Belize and had to get medical treatment on a Sunday.
Had swelling on hand due to some sort of bite.

Bus to general hospital . Waited an hour at triage then asked few questions, given a medical reference number, so now logged into Belize system. Had 3 lots of tablets, 1 injection.

NO CHARGE.
Bit different if we went back to UK

Good to hear that you and Anita still seem to be enjoying your new life.

My understanding of NHS for expats is you still get A&E treatment and a visit to a GP for free, so you would have had that treatment for free.
