Ask Celal or Serhat at Ersem Trading - main road Alsancak/Lapta. Would be very surprised if they can't get it fixed.

The heater will shut down if the oxygen level falls from the norm of 21% down to around 19%. This is done by the oxygen depletion sensor (O.D.S.) This happens when you get snuggled down with the door closed, no fresh air entering the room. The heater depleats the oxygen level in the room. This can often be mistaken for a fault which it is not, it is a feature required on all fluless gas appliances. As well as the oxygen depleting the product of combustion, carbon monoxide is entering the room. Deadly. Regular ventilation is required. If the heater lights as normal the next morning it will almost certainly be the O.D.S. If it has gone out because of the O.D.S. the pilot flame will sound noisey and lift off the pilot jet leaving the thermocouple without the flame. The thermocouple will cool, the milivolt source to the control Valve is lost and will close shutting off the gas supply. Love your O.D.S. a life saver.
