New China Bazaar and cafe Sumi opening soon in the Old Bektas supermarket property in Karaolanoglu. Great to see the building being used after so many years!

Great news for Karaglanaglu, and will hopefully provide a lot of local village jobs.

Yes, I noticed the signs going up a few days ago. It'll give the Stormax down the road a run for their money but I do hope the smaller independent shops in Karaoglanoglu, most of which are struggling, don't suffer too much.

I noticed the old Bells premises are being refurbished also. Anyone know the story behind that?

It's been bought by Akpinar, the chain of bakeries.

The new China Bazaar is really buzzing, lorry loads of items being delivered all of the time. Maybe they want to open pre-Christmas and certainly pre-New Year at this rate.
