This is to give you forewarning of some upcoming events so that you can plan your diary accordingly.
Note 1: Expression of interest is invited asap please so that planning and costing as necessary can get underway.
Note 2: During the winter months all talks will be arranged during the daytime (lunchtime)
Talk by Deniz Engin Vehbi on the work of Embargoed
Date: Tuesday 5th January 2016
Time (lunchtime), venue and cost details to follow

Help us sell the ATA!
The Committee has received an invitation from the Craft Club in Esentepe to speak to them about our Association. We would like to extend that invitation to include you, our members, and hope that some of you will join us to meet this group and have a social interaction with them after the presentation. The planning is still in its infancy but I can confirm the following:
Date: 21st January 2016
Time: am – between 10am -12noon (exact start time to be confirmed)
Venue: Amore Restaurant (on the main road past the turn off up to the village). Formerly Alkan Holiday Village
Transport: Under your own steam!
Lunch: To be the social part of the visit but exact information to be confirmed.
Cost: To date there is none attached, unless we decide on a fixed menu otherwise it is a pay-for-your own meal and drinks.
Proposed Program: Presentation about the ATA, Question Time, Lunch

The Annual General Meeting
The Committee has agreed the initial details for the above.
Date: Saturday 20th February 2016
Time: 10.30am
Venue: Eziç Premier, Girne
Note: The Association now has to strictly implement the rule of the Constitution which states that members wishing to attend the meeting must have paid their membership fees one month in advance of the date of the meeting. So, unlike previous years where we have stretched the point, fees can no longer be paid on the day.

You won’t want to miss this AGM. It will be an informative meeting setting out the changes, demanded by law, on how the Association conducts its business. So plan to be there to get this information first hand!

Kind regards
Pearl
