Has any member had experience of ordering items from Amazon UK and had it delivered here in the TRNC using the "Mersin 10" address in Turkey? I would like to know if they have encountered any problems along the way and was extra customs charges made?

Yes a friend has had books and other things delivered by Amazon via DHL to their house in Catalkoy.

In the past - pre-Kindle - I have had loads of books delivered from Amazon with no problems at all. Occasionally the parcels were picked up by the customs and had to go to Girne to collect but, apart from the 1TL charge for the inspection, never had to pay anything else.

Never had a problem. We have a post box at Alsancak and orders turn up okay.

I have sent cards put North Cyprus after Mersin 10 is that correct or should I have put Turkey?

Don't put north cyprus,just the merin 10,turkey bit.

I have had lots of items including books delivered by Amazon all the way to Dipkarpaz. I always make sure they are 'fulfilled by Amazon'. That way there is no problem, if something gets lost, you get instant refund!!!

Definitely add Mersin 10 Turkey!! I now also add my postcode - Dipkarpaz 99890 then Mersin etc

The Amazon UK website won't accept "Mersin 10" as the postcode, with "Turkey" as the delivery country; anyone have any ideas how to get around that?

I'm planning to order a mattress topper from Amazon - any thoughts on whether we'll have any hassle from Customs?
