Been waiting 2yrs for the road at my house to be laid or at least repaired due to the builders damage which has caused damage to my car with the holes 2 ft deep. Well low and behold winter arrives they decide to do it, trenches dug pipes laid refilled and the tarmac laid, lovely, this week trenches collapse underneath taking the road with it.
My car has been stuck at my house now for 3 days as can't get out because of mud 2ft deep and deep trenches appearing and the builder has not the decency to knock on the door and say get your car out as road is going to be blocked.
The builders have JCBs everywhere on site and can see cars are struggling to get over these holes, do they get a bucket full of stone to fill them in no instead they struggle with their own cars to get home at night.
Thick as mud comes to mind, well I am being polite actually.

Sounds like a role for your advocate/builder/belideye to follow, rather than this forum - IMHO. Repeat the good luck message though.

A bit off topic but I have seen one lorry opposite the Sunset road and, I'm told there is another one near the Merit turn off, stuck in the water pipe trenches.
The back fill with loose sand has been totally inadequate. There are also holes at virtually every T-junction with the coast road where the pipes have been dug in particularly after the recent rain.
The lorry opposite Sunset had a crane and was very heavily laden with bricks maybe. It looked as if it was about to topple over!!!
