Anyone know how many points you need to loose your TC licence.

Don't quote me on this but I believe it is 100, but I don't know what points are incurred for any partuclar driving offence. I believe drink drive incurs an automatic 3-month ban.

as quoted the offences have different points just like in the UK but instead of 1 point they take 100 i heard it was something like 900 points or drink driving and your banned for 3 months after the 3rd time you loose it totally

I believe you get a fine and points if you live in the TRNC. But just fine if you are a visitor. I got my first one last time I was there, I like the way the police, at the customs border, worked out the fine - pen in mouth, eyes looking up at the ceiling in deep thought then alacazaam the figure written on a piece of paper. Well, I did deserve it. Anyway, they were very polite and helpful at the border, asking me to be careful not to miss the road speed limit signs when driving.

Yes, I am a more careful driver now. At least they give you warning that cameras are ahead. Sometimes it might be just a sign to get you to slow down, you never know. But the one thing that bugs me is that it takes me three times as long to get to Famagusta than it did ten years ago!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
