Try Scott Kennedy at FMA, I think he's the Clan Chief here.

There is a Caledonian society which holds Burns Suppers and St Andrew's night balls, we are not usually in NC in January or at the end of November for these but they are usually put on the events forum, may be worth looking there for a contact number. Not sure if Scott Kennedy is still in NC.

There is a Scottish country dancing group that meet on Thursdays at 7pm. Water mill hotel in Girne. Please call Pat on 05338447358 for dates of next dance. We are not meeting this week and probably not next week either. This is a group that meet to learn the dances, chat, meet new people etc. Open to everyone. We have Scottish, English, Irish, Cypriot, Iranian friends who come.Hotel guests sometimes join us too. No charge. No experience needed ! Come and join us !

Hi Mimi2
We belong to the Caledonian Society of Cyprus and hold St Andrews, Burns Night and Summer Do's with excellent Scottish traditional music from The Scottish Isles. It's mainly a Scottish Group but expanding with various Nationalities so please either telephone Scott, our Chieftain 05338457296, Margaret our Secretary 05338471826 or myself Nicky (treasurer) 05338304267 to find out more.
Please PM me with your email and I will send you details for our Burns Night
I agree with Leither about other Societies BUT you can't beat a traditional Scottish night! and Pat will certainly help you if your Scottish dancing is a bit rusty!
Kind regards
Nicky
