Have you tried Stormax, they had them last year. If not, be like my old man, he prefers hot water bottles!

Single blanket for 50tl available at the small shop (slels mainly carpets etc) next to Bonita Hairdressers, opposite Teachers Hotel, Central Girne. Stormax had none, so calle din there. They mighgt have more left, so do give it a try. Good luck.

On Christmas Eve, we just bought 2 from the new Chinese Bazaar in Karaolanoglu - the old Bektash Supermarket building - just near Tempo. They are to be found upstairs in the bedding section. Very reasonable price for a double - TL49 - and seem fairly good quality, with two heat settings. Couldn't find any anywhere in Girne - Genc - Stormax, etc.
