Pegasus Prices Rocketing

Just to help members who are mulling over booking Pegasus flights in April. Went online to their web page this morning and went to book at flight on 8th April to Ercan for £69.99 plus fees. Got as far as pay now after entering all details and the payment wouldn't go through. Tried at 1.30pm today and lo behold the price had gone up to £145 plus fees. Got the cheaper price on 13th April so I am fine as such but this was a hefty fare increase in my opinion. Anybody else thinking of April flights might be better to do it sooner rather than later.

The price of tickets is sensitive to the sale of tickets to any one flight. As the plane fills up the price rises accordingly. It is also sensitive to the interest on that flight, so if you search for a flight and not book it at that time when you return to the site the price will automatically have risen due to your earlier interest. This information was given to me by a booking agent.

Yes take your point Banshee but Pegasus more than doubled the price of at least 2 week flights, a big rise.

I have had similar problems in the past and found (not always) better prices with A1cyprus.com very competitive and helpful.

As Banshee says the more interest that is shown in a flight, the prices rise and it has to do with the time of day that you are looking online ie most people book in the afternoon /early evening

Not wishing to be rude ttoli but just checked your prices for September and they are about £140 more expensive than TA or Pegasus ?
Is this correct.
