MORAL SUPPORT FOR A BRAVE LADY

Despite having been very ill herself, and still in recovery, MEL7348 has been taking care of her husband Les, who has not been in the best of health since a serious car accident years ago and not so long ago, hip surgery.

On Saturday, Les had a massive heart attack, he is now in the intensive care unit in Lefkosa hospital, where tomorrow he will be having surgery to insert a stent.

MEL7348 [ANGELA] is the most kindhearted, unbiased person that I have ever met, who always puts herself last and will, without a second thought, help anyone in need.

Les is a shy, gentle, kindhearted person, they are husband and wife, but also soulmates and best friends.

Please, let her know, she, and Les, are in our thoughts, and that we are praying or keeping our fingers crossed, that it all goes well tomorrow. INSALLAH

Stay strong MELIK, your KIBCOM pals are here for you.

you beat me to it! i was going to put a thread to encourage Mel that we are all here for her and thinking of her, and sending strength to her through cyberspace. I hope she realises that if there is anything any one of us can do, all she has to do is ask.

Personally, I prefer prayer to fingers crossed, as I find the former a better insurance, and it doesn't stop me working! Seriously, whatever anyone believes in that can help, then believe it for Mel.(angela).

God be with you, (as they say 'whatever you understand Him/Her/it to be) and our prayers are that all will be well for you both.

don't know why bad things happen to nice people, but they do. the only explanation I find acceptable is that the rest of us can learn to love when we try to help thenice people to whom the bad has happened. Hope the good starts to happen soon.

every blessing Mel. x x x x x

We have not met Les or Angela but in the short time we have been reading this forum Angela's love of life and humanity shines through. It is no surprise that members feel so much for this couple and we too hope that everything for them from now on is everything they wish for. Get well soon Les.

Words cannot describe what your kind words and support mean to me

THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH EVERYONE.

Les had just arrived (walking) at Girne Hospital Casualty Dept when he arrested. He owes his life the rescus. team who persevered 5 defibs and managed to bring him back and transfered to Intensive Care.

His Angioplasty today was without complications and the Docs are optimistic. The care has been terrific. When the chips were down they came up trumps.

Hopefully he will be home sometime next week INSALLAH.

My heartfelt best wishes to all of you

Angerla

Angela, our thoughts and prayers are with you nd Les. It's also times like this when people need practical help, doing washing, shopping, walking the dogs, helping with transport. If you need help with any of these please put it out on this Forum and I'm sure people will come to the rescue
