We would like to wish all our friends and supporters, old and new, a very Happy New Year.
It is a pleasure to announce that the 1st of our monthly Coffee Mornings will take place on Tuesday 12th January, 16 at the regal Savoy Hotel, Girne.
We do hope you will come a long and join us and make it an enjoyable morning. There will be lots to catch up on after the Christmas celebrations and lots to talk about over a nice cuppa!
There will be our Charity stalls as well as numerous others to tempt you and of course our very own Carole will be strutting her stuff selling the Raffle tickets.
It will start at 10.30am and admission will be 10tl per person which includes tea/coffee and cake.
Please make a note on your calendar or in your diary, next Tuesday The Savoy Hotel, Girne.
We look forward to seeing you there and with your help and support making 2016 a year to remember for our local Charity.
Thank you .

We do hope to see a good turn out on Tuesday 12th at The Savoy for our first Coffee Morning of the New Year.
May we ask if any of you have time over the week-end to have a quick sort out of your 'drawers', cupboards and wardrobes to see if there is anything you could bring with you to donate to us.
What you think is maybe past it's sell by date, others could see it as a new item.
Our Charity Shop The Hut, which is neighbour to the BRS office and the English Library, all tucked behind the Post Office and Law Courts in Girne, was reopened at the end of October last year and working alongside Heartbeat, our shop situated by Girne Hospital, gives us a double chance of raising funds but also means we need more donations from you.
If you can help - thank you .

Thank you to all of you that came to our Coffee Morning at the grand Savoy Hotel this morning.
There were about 80 of us there and with your support we raised nearly 1800 TL.
We enjoyed seeing you there and having a chat and hopefully you all did too. Also we hope many of you managed to grab a Bargain from our Charity stalls.
The cakes and cuppa's were delicious and a big thank you to the staff and management of The Savoy who were most helpful and looked after us so well.
We will be announcing February's Coffee Morning very soon but for now may we give a give a gentle reminder that we have two shops open The Hut and Heartbeat and are always grateful for donations of any kind and of course customers.
Thank you once again.

Pardon my poking my nose in but wanted to say what a fab spread the Savoy Had put on, and anyone who didn't go really missed a treat. plus I have to say a huge 'Thank you' to the staff who whipped up a wheelchair for my Alan's exit (the escalator up was o.K but going down could mean suicide!) and raced him through the back streets of the hotel to the car at the front. Most helpful, plus it was extremely nice to have half a dozen handsome young men, beautifully clad in white jackets (no, not doctors to take we loonies away), pandering to olur every need (well, most of them!).
So thanks NCCCT for booking Savoy for this month - it was a real pleasure.
Pity I cannot share the bottle of bubbly I won with you all!

A little late adding this comment, but I have to say that was the best spread by the Savoy Hotel. The staff were also very helpful which has been a bit lacking in the past. Well done. I hope the NCCCT did well too and look forward to the next event at the Rocks.
