He was such a big part of my life growing up in the 70s. I was watching a load of his 70s hits on youtube 2 days ago. He personified cool, even in his later years.

He was a colossus on the music scene and the present "stars" are pale insipid caricatures of the real thing. RIP DB and may your epitaph be your last Album, which I'm sure will go stratospheric.

According to internet paper (3am release) , D.B. was cremated secretly very, very soon after he died without any publicity. friends or family present. How true this is re family I don't know, just going by the paper.
