Not sure. Pop into the Belidiye and enquire or ask a local.

didn't think there was one- pity there wasn't at least a link to the Essenteppe bus?
we would be interested in that
Maybe a market for someone now that the population around Tatlisu is growing?

Hello, in your initial post you indicated you knew the Esentepe - Girne bus timings. Have you enquired in Tatlisu Beli? In msg 4 you now state you are interested in the Esentepe bus service. What information do you actually want and are prepared to do discoverfor yourself?

Think that you are getting a bit muddled. Original poster is not the same person as in 4th post.

Thank you for your extremely rude reply Tom Steel, delivered in your usual bullish manner.
I think you need to go to Specsavers, not to mention anger management classes, as I have only posted the original post.
I've seen your sarcastic, nasty responses on many posts and wonder why you are still allowed on this forum because you seem to get kicks out of being rude to people, which is against the rules and spirit of Kibcom.
I will thank you to refrain from responding to any of my future posts, as your information is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

I help where I can. I apologise for the wrong reference, Specsavers will be visited, so thanks for your helpful advice there. If my posts are considered rude, neither read them or reply to them. Obviously the Moderators do not share your opinion. Incidentally, anger management was a subject I majored in.
Have you ascertained any information on Tatlisu transport yet?

frugal 90, the Esentepe bus service is:
Esentepe - Girne from outside of Remzis restaurant.
Mon - Fri: 0645, 0900, 1300, 1530, 1730
Sat/Sun/Public Hols: 0715, 0900, 1300, 1530, 1730
Girne - Esentepe
Mon-Fri: 0730, 1130, 1430, 1630, 1830
Sat/Sun/Public Hols: 0800, 1130, 1430, 1630, 1830
Might I advise though, at the risk of being considered rude, you check with Hasan in the Belediye for confirmation that times have not changed.

No I haven't Tom Steel. I had obtained the Esentepe bus timetable from the Esentepe website but unfortunately the Tatlisu Belediyesi website offers no such information. I tried calling them but nobody spoke English. I cannot go to the Belediyesi, even if they did speak English, to make enquiries as I live far from there and don't have a car.
The reason I needed to know if there was a bus service is because I may be spending a month there shortly and without a car, wanted to establish how to get about.
It seems there is no public transport there.

Fesenjan 123. I do not live in Tatlisu, however, I will drive to the Belidiye and enquire for you. There are a number of good English speaking Cypriots employed there. Failing that, I'll ask my neighbour to 'phone and enquire. I do not expect a response from you given your opinion of my apparent 'rudeness' to posts here, but whatever I discover I'll post.

Confirmed by a very pleasant, reasonably good English-speaking lady in Tatlisu Belidiye, there is no regular bus service to either Gazimagusa or Girne. There is a service to Lefkosa. Whilst I do not know where you intend to stay during your time in Tatlisu or how you'll get to the accommodation or back, you may have to resort to a hire car or a friendly neighbour for lifts.

Thank you very much Tom Steel. Looks like I will have to hire a car then, if I end up having to stay there.
Your help was much appreciated.

The Tatlisu-Lefkoşa-Tatlisu bus service is as follows:
Mon-Sat:
Departs Tatlisu Mosque area at 0600. Can also be boarded at the roundabout at the bottom of the Tatlisu road near the Ambulance Station and from the bus stop at the junction of the D45/D10 (Lefkoşa/Girne roads). On Public Holidays, the service depends upon the holiday (Bayram it will go on the 3rd day). Return from Lefkoşa Bus Terminus (where the bus stops in Lefkoşa) is at 1330 and 1700. There is no Sunday service.
Cost (as at 19/01/16) is 9.5 YTL per journey.
Should readers require more detailed advice they can contact Bea on 0533 867 5115. She is unconnected with the bus company but is really helpful and has excellent English.

David, might I suggest you follow the advice given in the final paragraph of my post above? I assume from its departure point onto the D45, over the mountain pass to Gecitkale and then to its final destination. I think I've done more than enough to help the original request for information in msg 17 above. Whatever I can ascertain for Esentepe-Lefkosa will likewise be posted here.

There is no direct bus route Esentepe-Lefkosa. Advice from the Belidiye is use the service to Girne, then catch the Lefkosa bus.
