Watched David Haye destroy the Australian last night but didn't see the Turkish flag on his boxing shorts. Does he still have anything to do with the TRNC ?

I also watched the fight. I'm not entirely sure but there looked to be a small red patch which did look like a mini turkish flag on his waistband . Not sure how good his opponent was, but you could not fault Haye's aggression.

I couldn't see any flag; but it was the North Cyprus flag that he used to have on his shorts, not the Turkish flag. His training camp used to be in Girne, but that was quite a few years ago.

You're right there Hawkeye, it was the trnc flag, sorry about that. When we were there from 2008 till 2014 he was being raved about. I thought he lived over Catalkoy way but could be wrong. I'm not really sure why he had a strong association with the trnc tho.

Both he and his trainer (old trainer) Booth have houses here as well as other countries

Rumour has it he has fallen out with North Cyprus, hence no flag!

Will ask him next time i see him he lives just up the road

David sold his house here a number of years ago, if you look at the shorts they are nothing like the one's he wore in the days when he trained in Ozankoy/catalkoy. I believe he has also given up his TRNC Kimlik card.

Kimlick cards and deeds, bloody hell he was honoured !! If I put a flag on my speedo's then can I have my deeds please !!

I thought the powers that be assumed it was going to give them world wide support for as he used the TRNC for training but they were shot in the foot rather when he thumped someone out side of the ring and was banned for a while. He used to have one half of his trunks in the form of the TRNC flat didn't he and that really got up the noses of "we know who". I'm not even sure what his actual relationship to TRNC is. Anyone else have any idea?

His ex trainer Adam Booth"s father is from Northern Cyprus so was convenient to build a gym out here as a training base away from too much publicity with better weather.

He lives near me in the UK (well he did - he has just been booted out for..........er.............well you can guess)

I can't guess, what has David Haye been booted out for and where from, are you saying he has been booted out from UK or his home near you.

Daily Mirror 26th December 2015 says David Haye has put his £2m home up for sale amid rumours he is to split from his wife, it is not known where he is living although he owns a flat in South West London. A spokesman when asked about the split replied "they have not divorced". He has 8 year old Son.
