New Years Eve Swim 2015

Seven very brave 'Tulips Chilly Dippers' took a sponsored chilly dip into the sea on the 31st December which was definitely the coldest day of the winter too date, at no time was there ever any talk about cancelling especially as the rough waves knocked some of them off their feet!

On Friday 15th January a presentation was made to Tulips from the swimmers (Sue Tong, Duncan Leitch, Un Bitlis, Steve Owen, Jackie Pennington, Shelagh Bolton and Steve Foster) and Jenny Brown who was the provider of the much loved mulled wine at The Fly Inn of a staggering 8,347TL!

Already, they are all planning their next swim at the end of this year.

Tulips would like to thank everyone involved including the huge crowd that turned out to support the swimmers who most definitely needed encouragement on such a cold day.
