Passport is due for renewal, would it be quicker /cheaper to post to UK and have family process from there then post back via tracked parcel to the South?

Thanks

Just renewed mine using DHL courier service from The Food Lodge in Girne. Cost of passport renewal online £102, plus around 41 euros courier fee. Got my new passport 16 days after lodging, and it was delivered to me at my nearest supermarket. Couldn't fault the service.

Agree with Fatouch. Totally great service. Have used this for debit cards as well. Slight delay at Istanbul but you can monitor your package. Peace of mind and well worth supporting.

So you print off the form then send it with photos and pay on line?

Deniz1, you fill out your details online, pay online, print off the declaration form and send that with your photos from The Food Lodge (you pay them the courier fee) . Really simple process.

Thank you do you need the photos signed by anyone? Hopefully the photos are acceptable when they get there!

Photos do not need signing for a renewal, and when you go tothe photographer, just tell him that the photos are for a UK passport.

And check the pictures!

I renewed mine recently, and the pictures were photo-shopped by the photographers, and then cut up and put into the envelope. Fortunately I looked at them, my hair was green, not a slight green, I mean green. Yet the assistant on the shop was happy to cut them up and put them into an envelope for me.

When I questioned it, from the look I got, you would have thought it was my fault.

If doing it from the Food Lodge, do you put the Food Lodge address or your own address?
