To Ercan or Larnaca, we have been quoted Thirty Five pounds for Ercan each way.

Sounds about right to me Mollie, I usually pay £50 e/w for Larnaca

where you tavelling to that would make a diffrence to the price

thirty five pounds to Larnaca is great. I paid £40 coming back the other week and that was £10 less than others. So, share it with everyone will you? Or get them to join the fourm and register and tell us what they are offering. Or was this a friend of a friend?

Marions, it was thirty five pounds each way to Ercan, not Larnaca.

Sorry I misread. If Larnaca ca be £40 how come rcan is £35. But what do other people know. I don't get taxi's to Ercan. and from where ? Kyrenia area?

With the cost of parking at Ercan now increased to almost double, does anyone know of a taxi to/from Ercan for less than £30? That price is the same as leaving your car there for two weeks!

The Taxi I use will charge about 75 - 80 TL to or from Ercan.

Marion, who do you use that charges £40 for Larnaca? They could prove very popular!

11.5 TL on the coach from Ercan to Girne, then either bus or Taxi home max cost 31.5 TL.
Can't beat it, unless coaches are too common for you to use, they run pretty regular too.
Used it twice this year, once each way, first time the coach broke down before it left Girne and they had a replacement there in five minutes and we were all transferred in a further five.

I think £35 to Ercan and £50 to Larnaca is pretty fair to be honest when you take into account petrol, wear and tear and time.

Someone really needs to set up a minibus business offering a shuttle service to and from the various airports. That way the cost could be shared and make it cheaper for everyone. Don't think the taxi drivers would be very happy tho!!!

We used Baspinar before we moved over and bought our own car. They are great and the quality of their cars are good and reasonable.

A-onerentacar last charged me £25 each way to Ercan and £50 to Larnaca. If hire care was £25 to larnaca each way. Excellent service over the years, never had a problem

A one do not charge for Ercan transfers if hiring a car. (that was before the airport take over and hike in prices though,) worth checking with them
