A friend has asked me to post, to see if anyone knows of any one who repairs oil run boilers will request any more info required.

Don't repair it-throw it out.
I repared one that I inherited,It cost me £200 in oil in one month.
Get inverter aircon for heating-much warmer and much cheaper.

Strange. We have one and find it very affordable to run.
What's the problem with the boiler?
Common problem is that it runs out of oil and just needs to be primed.
