Did I imagine it or was there topic yesterday about the state of the roads here at present ? Someone mentioned the deep rut running along Lapta Strip.
There was an accident at around midnight outside Calamari Restaurant, No one was injured but the passenger was shook up. The car had no body damage but the suspension and steering were badly damaged .

The car was small and had small wheels , it did not ride the rut well and was forced across the road hitting the high kerb with some force. In fact thank god the kerb was high. This accident was a direct result of this mess, so take care especially when dark.

The road going out to Aligadi and beyond was in a mess with nibbled and entrenched edges that are fatal for cars and people when I was down there in October all thanks to pipe laying hate to think what its like after a winter of rain

Wanderer, we have had an awful lot of rain and the work from the pipe laying has made a terrible mess, people are not exaggerating , West side is diabolical , I have seen several big wagons over the winter that have just pulled into the left and just sunk into the loosely back filled excavations. Putting this back to any sort of normality is a massive task.

Meant to say Wanderer almost as bad as the hole our football team need to dig their selves out of.
