Sounds like a question needing professional legal opinion and unlikely to be so answered here.

chinchilla, we live on the edge of KE village, walk our dogs daily in the area and drive through the village regularly. Where are these properties which are being burgled please? Are they in the village, on one of the estates or isolated? I am happy to do a 'neighbourhood watch' patrol if I know where to concentrate an area to look after, plus I'll also ask my Cypriot neighbours to look out.

Hi Tom.

It is around the Jashan Restaurant area.

OK, I know the area quite well there. Are the houses involved on the Jashan Restaurant estate, next to it or on the Sunset Valley estate area? I'll include the area involved in my twice daily dog walks once I know where. Thanks for the information.

Yes there is a retired copper on the Jashan one so he is pretty active there I wonder how they know they are all holiday homes as they cannot possibly case that many . Maybe someone with inside knowledge so to speak.

Sunset Valley is managed by a well known developer who employs sub-contractors as necessary. I'll certainly include this area on walks and note work vehicles I see.

chiangbill, without wishing to appear as being naive, have either owners reported these breaki ins to their, highly reputable, estate management company? I feel sure the Company would react positively.

Hi Tom.

Both our friends are not on managed estates. But the Police were involved in both cases. Forensics visited both scenes, as yet nothing from them.

Bill.

Hi Bill, can you PM me with the houses' locations if they are not on Sunset View. I'll then incorporate a patrol within our walks. Thanks in advance.

Hi chiangbill,
As a matter of interest,
do you or any other Kibkomer know what time of day these burglaries took place?

No not really. But our friends had a outside security light, which we found smashed in the garden. But maybe they thought it was a camera.
