PASSPORT RENEWAL



As of 15th February, you will no longer be able to renew your UK passport at the Food Lodge, GIRNE.



Passport renewal has now moved to The Food Lodge, Catalkoy.

I was assured by the guy taking over the Food Lodge premises that he would be doing a DHL service."In about three weeks) and he told me that towards the end of January. So maybe he has changed his mind. My husband's passport was in the middle of the move and due to DHL not putting enough numbers on the paper for the phone, I nearly didn't get it. But mix ups happen. Really more of a typing error.
Of course, one can always contact the Head Office in Lefkosa.

Thanks so much for putting this on, I was going to the Food Lodge in Girne to do my passport tomorrow. Can anyone give me a couple of clue's as to how to find it in Catalkoy, as never go over that way.

Just stay on the main road through Karakum and Catalkoy, you'll find Sah supermarket on your left, not far past there on your right you'll see the sign for Food Lodge, it's not a huge sign so keep your eyes peeled.

Slightly more detail: After Sah, look for Supreme, then Tempo, both on the left, then contintnue for about 300 metres to Food Lodge on the right.

Food Lodge Catalkoy is not brilliantly signed, although it is there if you look for it. As described in msg 5 above. Look out for a parade of shops on the right after the supermarkets. Food Lodge is located at the right-hand end of the parade of shops.

What a ridiculous statement by the BRS 'you will no longer be able to renew your UK passport at the Food Lodge Girne'.
Since when were you able to do this? I presume they mean that they are no longer operating a DHL service from there?

You used to be able to go there for advice to fill in your form....suggest this is what they mean. Probably most understood the statement anyway.
