Does anyone know of a dealer west side of Girne who can service a Stihl, or maybe it's Stilh, machine or get parts? The whirly bit on the the end of my strimmer vanished into the undergrowth and I need a new bit, (that holds the nylon string), Regards Harper

You should be able to get a copy strimmer head that will fit from any decent yapi market or try the gardena shop on the main road.

Failing that i can bring one over from UK but not back til late May ?

There is a very good chap who does repairs/ fits parts to machinery [including Stihl] and he is on the side street where the Padishah restaurant used to be. Opposite where Ice Man is/was. In the locality of the Colony hotel but on the opposite of the road. It is not a shop but looks like a car repair place.

Sorry, I know the other two locations and I going to try to get fixed tomorrow before my cats get stranded, but I have only been here for 14 years and don't know where Hos Bes is. Shame on me.

Thanks guys. 5 yapi markets had supposedly universal fittings but they couldn't get to fit. So went to the Mediterranean Gardens, (Gardenia) and they bolted a Husqvana piece on, so now all looks good. Harper

Spoke too soon. !0 minutes of strimming and it went to join the original part in the undergrowth. I think I need a real Stihl part now

You could have a wonder through Ledra Street and visit the dealer in Nicosia ?
