This won't affect everyone, but for those with asthma or other risk factors, it could be worth reading this warning about the dangers of drying washing indoors...

The things that we never knew!

As one diagnosed with COPD (although I don't believe it - more like lack of fitness! ) I should/would be a little concerned except that I find the statement - ‘’One load of wet washing contains almost two litres of water, which is released into the room...."
To me, two litres seems an excessive amount - unless the load has not been spun-dried - and then would the washing be placed on the airer and left to drip on and semi-flood the floor?
Perhaps I'm wrong, but occasionally extreme laboratory experiments do get misinterpreted for shock news value....

I live in UK & suffer from asthma & COPD & with no dryer, through the winter months will dry washing indoors. I think the secret is in plenty of ventilation. I know people in my close of similar houses have mould but I never see windows open, whereas I have mine open on a regular basis.
