Cartridge Island on the right of the main road to Kyrenia town centre - in the same block of shops as Cyprus Today office.

Shop opposite Teacher's Hotel. Using Pia Bella Hotel as a point of reference. Head into Girne, pass over the 1st road turning on your left. There is then a parade of shops. The computer ink shop is the last one on the left, just before a Y junction with a Turkish military facility just ahead.

I think that is Cartridge Island, run by John.

Go down the main road to the Pia Bella roundabout, continue across the road and past the shops . After the vegi market on the corner it is located in the next block across the road straight ahead before the "Y" turn off ( Military prison).

Hi,
to resurrect an old(ish) thread - googled Cartridge Island and found a link that showed a map prescence at Karaoğlanoğlu Caddesi, Ersoy Plaza (next to the Ship) - went there; no sign!
More googling and found Cartridge Island AKA North Cyprus Cartridges at İskenderun Caddesi, Girne - does anyone know whether this is the same firm and now the current address, or is there anywhere else?

Ha Ha Ha, I did that as well!

As far as I know, that is now the current address.

Let us know, after you've been there, please!

Be a couple of days now before I try again (busy furnishing and other things) but will definitely post!

Back again; I've now actually seen Cartridge Island - it is on İskenderun Caddesi, Girne. If you enter "North Cyprus Cartridges" in Google maps, it shows the exact location - but if you're in a car, blink and you miss it! As you come to the fork in the road (İskenderun Caddesi left, Mustafa Çağatay Caddesi right), the shop is on the left.

As described in msgs 3 and 10 above. Parking outside the shop is hard to find.

Many thanks; but as described in message 12, Google indicated Karaoğlanoğlu Caddesi, which would have been closer and more convenient for me....
But as Keith had asked (as described in message 13), I though it only courteous to reply....

And very informative too jofra. Your post just confirms the exact location. Where did you manage to park? We had to chance our luck further along Iskenderun Caddesi and hope no rozzer came along

Ah now; that's a different matter altogether!
In the end, I didn't need to go in, but as I had said I would look for it, and I was in Girne, so be it - I found it, saw it and passed it by!
Brief summary of reason - bought a cheap "make-do" printer from the Auction Centre for 70TL, turned out to be unused with unopened sealed-in-bag cartridges which appeared to have dried up purely from age (dated 2008!). Failing to find the shop, tried a couple of overnight rescucitations and they finally sprang back to life - so now, new carts are not needed after all!

Thanks to all, I've made a note of that in case anyone else needs to know in future (or in case I do!)

tomsteel - rozzer? - ROZZER? - it's a long time since I heard that! Image
