Lemar has officially launched the Lemar Loyalty card in aid of Tulips/Help Those with Cancer Association/KHYD.

The aim of the loyalty card is to provide all Tulips/Help Those With Cancer Association/KHYD supporters who have signed up for a Lemar Loyalty card to be entitled to an immediate 3% off their shopping when purchasing at a Lemar Store using the Loyalty Card and over and above this a further 2% will be donated to Tulips/Help Those With Cancer Association/KHYD charity.

At the end of each month the 2% donation can be collected by the charity from the Lemar Head Office in Lefkosa.

It does not cost anything to apply for a loyalty card with an immediate 3% saving on your bill and the charity receiving the extra 2%. The more people that sign up for the card the more money the charity will receive.

To sign up for a Lemar Loyalty Card, please send your name, email address and the store of which you would like to collect your card from to: tulipscarole@yahoo.com or visit our stall at Lambousa on Saturday. You will receive an email when to advise you when your card is available for collection.

The loyalty cards can be used in any Lemar Supermarket across the whole of the TRNC. The only restriction is that no discount is available on Alcohol, Tobacco or Newspapers.

This kind of regular income is invaluable for the Association, with their current high monthly costs, to keep them up and running.....

Has anyone actually received one of these cards? We had an email to say ours were waiting for us at Karakum Lemar at the beginning of May whilst we were in UK. However despite asking 2 of the managers there who took our names & phone nos they have not been given to us.

Yes received ours.

Yes we also received ours.

E-mail received on the 18 April. Collected the cards on the 19th April and been using them since.

OK thanks for confirming they do exist then will have to keep trying!

Never received mine either. Email said I could collect it from Lemar in Girne(old Astro)I went 3 times and no one knew what I was talking about. Shame, as its such a good idea. Tulips tried to help and said Lemar would contact me, but so far I have heard nothing.

Sorry about the delay with the Lemar loyalty cards. We have had problems with Lemar with regard to the distribution and working of these cards.

Please wait until you get another email confirming that the card is at the store and then all should be okay. Fingers crossed.

Any update on these cards? I haven't received an email yet. I noticed a post from KAR saying uncollected cards associated with their charity were going back to the Alsancak store. Will this be the same for the tulips ones? Thanks
