is any one else having a problem loading the NTV portal? I just keep getting page loading error. I cannot even connect to the NTV web site. It stalls and comes up with a bad gateway error 502

Yeah, same here must be an attack on the site again!

Looks like its a general fault. Yesterday I got a message to say I wasn't connected to the host server , but tonight it's Error 502.

In Karsiyaka and same, Internet back but no tv. Went on chat line to them but they asked for message so I guess big problem. Just have to wait for them to get back to me. Thanks for your postings so I know not problems at the house.

Message just up in ntv home page which says something wrong with one of servers and they will give a free day, reads as if no TV this evening.

Firmware of your ST is outdated. Please update. This comes o to screen, have no idea what this means, anybody help, remembering I'm not technology very good. Thanks.

Rocking, you could have still watched iPlayer on BBC or The Hub on ITV if you have VPN with Multimax/ You don't need NTV for either of them.

Sophie thanks, will get a vpn number from Multimax. Just so fed up that emails to ntv go unanswered, sent them another this morning and nothing. Looking at this bloody software message. Have sent a picture to the the company who offered help, so wait until ntv get it touch. After MM are no longer dealing with them I feel bit fed up with this.

There are some instructions on how to update here

You should be able to get to the update option by pressing setup on the ntv remote control from the screen that says you do not have right firmware

Zurich thanks for offer really nice of you. Just now pulled every wire out, some I shouldn't have. Stuck them all back and eh. I'm up and running. It is dreadful to be aged and not technology aware. Thanks you all.

Rocking I got the same message last night about updating STB. I emailed ntv and they emailed me the link to update, which I did. Little bit confusing to me but fortunately had help as my son in law was here!!! Went through the motions and everything was updated apparently, but left the screen with about 2" gap each side of the picture. Had to go into settings to put back on to wide screen. Fortunately that all worked ok. Bit of a pain when you don't really know how and why you are doing this sort of thing, but hopefully won't need to be updated again any time soon this is the first time in 3 years we've had to do it.

Message again this morning (Wednesday) on NTV BBC News screen, saying they cannot find a suitable stream. Euronews and other News channels are OK.

That's a relief - it's not just me then!

Of course, at breakfast time, it's the same as BBC1, which was working OK...

Thank goodness for this form.
