You need to be more specific as to which Belediye Offices you are talking about i.e Girne, Alsancak or what.

Ask your advocate, or builder or developer what has been done regarding parcilasation of your site. You then have a legal, as opposed to expat, opinion to move forward with.

Expat opinion based on experience is just has valid if not more than a advocates who dont recognise the notion of duty of care .
I did only ask if someone knew which of the numerous Belidye offices dealt with parcelisation so I can try to see if its possible to do it myself, like I have had to to get the shared Kocan.

The first thing you need is the file no & to find out where it is. It has to travel around Land Registry Girne & Lefkosa, Telephohe, Water, Fire, Highways & contain site plans, pinning plans, electrical plans, structural & mechanical engineering plans, swimming pool plans, visas, various forms signed by all owners & anything else they think of on the day. There will be money to pay all along. Good luck you will certainly need it!

Parcelisation can be performed when the single site Kocan held by the developer or landowner is willing and able after paying taxes. To allow the division into separate parcels with individual Kocans.
Presumably the site is on a shared Kocan currently.
The tapu and or Beledye will survey and check all buildings against plans and inspect the proposed parcelisation.
It is critical that the develop is on side. Often a fee or charge will usually need to be paid. Matter needs to be advantageous or why would developer want to proceed.
Recommended that some sort of contractual obligation is put in ant contract of sale from the outset.
Advocates don't tend to do this without prompting.

Thanks for replying all taxes are now paid , team of surveyor's measured individual plots with theodolite ages ago now things seem to have come a standstill hence initial request for Beli office dealing with parcelisation.
We do have a shared Kocan with Turkish neighbours, strangely we seem to be the only ones chasing individual deeds so far.

Ours took well over 2 years to complete. If you get the District Office number you can go in and see how far along the process has gone. If you're under Girne DO then you need to go to the counter on the 1st floor.
